Cross Trainer?
My mum has a cross trainer at home, which i am going to start using to lose a bit of weight! I am 5ft8, and weigh 10.5 stone. Can you tell me what effect the cross trainer will have, and how often and for how long i should use it, and also recommend any other exercises i can do ideally at home, or at the gym. I want to mainly target my lower body, thighs, bum etc aswell as tone and tighten all over! Thanks!

- cross trainers are hard work but they are worth it. start off doing 15-20 at first dont push yourself too hard. It will target your lower body. Also for that area climbing stairs or walking uphill is good. can i just also say that at 5ft8 and 10.5 stone you dont sound over weight at all!!! dont become another sie zero.
- well if you want to get into this do it right. You will need to work on diet too. As for the cross trainer your goal should be to work a minimum three days a week up to five. You will want to work for 45 minutes minimum and keep your hart rate around 145-160 depends on age. I shoot for 150. In addition, if you plan to workout at home I would get a ball and use it for muscle training. I would recommend lunges to work your rear and legs. You will see results fast if you follow this.
